Longwood Gardens is a 1,000-acre public garden with a heated Conservatory that makes it a year-round outing. Kids head for the Indoor Children's Garden, the Lookout Loft and Birdhouse treehouses, the Meadow Garden and the seasonal Garden Railway model trains. Timed admission tickets are required; adults run roughly $35-$52, youth 5-15 about $20-$32, and children 4 and under are free. The Café serves daily and stroller rentals are available. Closed Tuesdays.
