About
Welkinweir is Green Valleys Watershed Association's arboretum and preserve in East Nantmeal Township, with over two miles of trails through forest, meadows and around ponds. It is open weekdays 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on select weekend days for programs such as guided naturalist walks. Admission is free with donations welcome. Terrain is hilly with natural paths, so stroller use is limited. Picnicking is allowed at the pavilion by the visitor lot, and leashed dogs are welcome.
