Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens
Devon, Chester County, PA
Free woodland garden in Devon with an Explorer Garden nature play space, free Explorer Vests for kids and picnic spots.
About
Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens is a free 48-acre garden on a wooded hillside in Devon, open daily with seasonal hours. Kids can borrow a free Explorer Vest at the Education Center and head to the Explorer Garden nature play space, then join iNaturalist or geocaching scavenger hunts. Paths are paved, wood chip or turf and the site is steep, so strollers work only on some routes. Picnics are allowed on the Tree Canopy Deck and in the picnic grove; bikes, scooters and pets are not permitted.
