About

Four Mills Nature Reserve is the home base of Wissahickon Trails (formerly the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association). Two loop trails of about half a mile each follow Wissahickon Creek, with about 1.5 miles of trail total, and kids like spotting turtles and dragonflies in the wetland. Expect roots, rocks, boardwalk steps and bridges, so carriers work better than strollers. Trails are open daily sunrise to sunset; park at the Four Mills Barn entrance on Morris Road.
