Green Lane Park is a large Montgomery County park wrapped around the Green Lane Reservoir in the county's rural northwest corner. Families come for lakeside picnic areas, easy trails, fishing and seasonal programs run by the county parks department. It is a good half-day trip when you want open space and water views without a crowd. Call the park office for current hours, reservations and seasonal activities.
