Fort Mott is a former coastal defense fort on the Delaware River in Pennsville, with concrete batteries to walk through and wide lawns along the shoreline. The picnic area has playground equipment for children. A seasonal passenger ferry runs from here to Fort Delaware, and admission to the park is free. Hours change by season, from 8 AM to 4 PM in winter up to 7:30 PM in summer.
