Cape May Point State Park has free entry and short, mostly flat trails and boardwalks through marsh and ponds, which are good for birdwatching with kids. The Cape May Lighthouse sits inside the park and the beach is a short walk from the lot. The park office has information about the area. Bring bug spray in summer.
