Parvin State Park surrounds Parvin and Thundergust Lakes in Pittsgrove Township. Children's playgrounds sit near the picnic and beach areas, and the Thundergust Lake day-use area also has play equipment and restrooms. The Parvin Grove beach has lifeguards Memorial Day through Labor Day, with restrooms, showers and changing rooms nearby. One 2026 listing reported swimming closed, so call before planning a beach day.
