The Highlands is a 44-acre historic site with a late-1700s Georgian mansion, a two-acre formal walled garden and nine outbuildings including a barn and greenhouse. The gardens, grounds and walking trail are free to enjoy daily from dawn to dusk. Mansion tours are by appointment only, Monday through Thursday; call to schedule. The site also hosts children's events and a Visit with Santa during the holidays.
