Sunset Beach sits at the end of Sunset Boulevard in Lower Township, near the wreck of the SS Atlantus. Kids love searching the shoreline for Cape May diamonds, small quartz pebbles. In summer a flag-lowering ceremony is held at sunset, daily from Memorial Day weekend through August. The beach is free; the lot can fill on summer evenings.
