Mt. Cuba Center is a native-plant garden on a hillside estate in Hockessin. Mulched woodland paths wind past ponds and wildflowers, and the meadow loop gives kids space to roam. The gardens are open to the public April through November; the center recommends all-terrain strollers or baby carriers because paths are mulched and the terrain rolls. Tickets can be bought online or at arrival.
