Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead
Newtown Square, Delaware County, PA
Living-history 1700s farm inside Ridley Creek State Park with costumed interpreters; open weekends in season, fee charged.
About
The Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead (formerly the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation) is a living-history site inside Ridley Creek State Park that recreates an 18th-century Quaker farm with costumed interpreters and hands-on demonstrations. It is open to visitors on weekends in season and closed in winter; an admission fee is charged. Themed family events such as Fairytales and Fables run on select dates. Paths are gravel and grass, so carriers beat strollers. Check the website for the current season, hours and prices.
