About
Tyler Arboretum is one of the most kid-friendly gardens in the area, known for its treehouses scattered through the grounds, plus meadows, streams, a butterfly house and seasonal gardens. Admission is $18 for adults, $10 for ages 3 to 17 and free for 2 and under. You can bring a picnic; the Visitor Center sells drinks, snacks and ice cream in warm months. The arboretum recommends strollers with larger tires because some paths have rough terrain and steep grades. Open daily, 9 am to 6 pm April through October and 9 am to 4 pm November through March.
