Smedley Park sits on 120 acres along Crum Creek and is reachable by the Media-Sharon Hill trolley. The county lists safety-conscious play areas for children, shaded picnic groves, hiking paths, walking bridges over the creek and fields for baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse. The Environmental Center and Penn State Cooperative Extension are on site. Trails are mostly unpaved, so a stroller with large wheels works best. Hours are not posted online, so confirm before an early or late visit.
