The Brandywine Museum of Art is housed in a converted mill on the Brandywine in Chadds Ford. Kids respond to the animal paintings, pirate illustrations and story scenes, and the third-floor Imagine Brandywine hallway shows local student art. Strollers enter through the courtyard gate and elevators reach every floor; second-floor restrooms have changing tables. The Millstone Cafe has high chairs and a children's menu, and the grounds include a creekside picnic lawn and the River Trail. Adults $20, youth 6-17 $8, ages 5 and under free. Closed Tuesdays.
