The Wetlands Institute is a research and education center on the salt marsh outside Stone Harbor. Kids can see the touch tank and indoor exhibits, then head outside to look at the marsh and its birds. Ask at the front desk for the next scheduled touch tank presentation. It is open daily in summer and on weekends the rest of the year; children 3 and under are free.
