Lucy is a National Historic Landmark built in 1881 and the only elephant-shaped building you can walk through. Short guided tours take you up inside to a viewing deck on her back. The grounds in Josephine Harron Park are fenced and have picnic tables, and visiting the grounds and gift shop is free; only the tour costs money. Tours are short enough for preschoolers and infants ride free.
