About
Dickey Park Pool is one of two free outdoor pools run by the City of Newark. It opens in mid-June and closes in mid-August, Tuesday through Saturday afternoons, and is closed on July 4. The surrounding Edna C. Dickey Park has a children's play feature, picnic shelters and ball fields. Call the leisure-time hotline before you go, since the pool closes for weather or lifeguard shortages.
